What is AdWords?
Google AdWords is Google’s advertising program, and it is a quick and easy to use that allows you to purchase ads cost per click (CPC) that are correctly oriented, regardless of your budget. With this method, the advertiser only pays when a customer clicks on the ad, beyond the amount of times it appears on the Google website.
Insert Google Adwords advertising as, also known as sponsored links or sponsored links. Adwords ads are displayed alongside search results on Google (right or above), and appear only for certain words that the advertiser chooses. Also seen on search sites and content of the growing Google Network, including AOL, Earthlink, HowStuffWorks and Blogger. In this way the ads fail to reach a wide audience.
As for the characteristics of the ads, they do not support images, and they should take four lines (25 characters in the title, 70 and 35 in the text in the URL).
The advertiser specifies the maximum amount you are willing to pay for each click of a particular word, as not all have the same price. Google also provides a personal account for an advertiser to monitor your advertising campaign, and can control and manage expenses.
The Google AdWords ads reach allow thousands of new customers, and for this to work as best we can in their own ads, choose keywords to help guide them to users.
To save you money, the AdWords Discounter automatically reduces the actual cost per click to reach the person paying the minimum cost necessary to maintain your position on the results page.
When you create a targeted AdWords campaign website, is the ability to select specific content sites of Google Network where your ad will be published and to specify the maximum amount you are willing to pay for each thousand page views on that site.
Be paid every time someone viewing the ad, whether clicked or not. The same happens with keyword-targeted ads, the AdWords Discounter automatically reduces the cost per print than the interest paid up to the minimum cost for your ad to get a position on the page.
How to use
The process of creating a Google AdWords account consists of four main steps. First you have to choose the target audience, and it is available in many languages ??and nearly 200 different countries to choose from. You can even display ads only to users own cities or regions.
You can start by naming the new ad group and then specify the languages ??and locations you want to target. The ads will be shown to all users who have chosen the same major languages ??you. So you have to keep in mind that the announcement does not translate.
The second step is to create the ad itself, consider writing it and choose the keywords that trigger it. On the first slogan must create a headline and two lines of text that do not exceed 95 characters in total, then enter in the URL field the URL of the website you want to display in your own AdWords ad (this is not exceed 35 characters). The destination URL can contain up to 1,024 characters and is the real website to be accessed by users after clicking on the ad.
For select keywords, you have to keep in mind that each of these must be entered on a separate line (press Enter on your keyboard after typing each keyword or phrase). For more profitable results, make sure that this kind of words you enter are specific to the site or product itself.
Keyword tool helps you find those that maybe did not occur. You can also create new lists with other keywords or edit the current list at any time. Therefore, it is recommended to start with a few keywords to see which perform better.
In the third step is to define the price. To do this, choose the currency you want, and then define the cost per click and daily budget. You can spend the amount you want each day, there is no minimum budget. This should match the amount you wish to pay each month for your advertising campaign divided by the number of days in the month.
Keep in mind that the currency you choose will apply to both billing and payment. Therefore, if euro is selected, payment will be requested and accepted in the same currency. Once you have selected a currency for the account, and can not be changed later.
Depending on the keywords you enter, the AdWords system will calculate a recommended maximum cost per click and display the clicks and the daily costs that would result from it. You can accept the CPC or use another.
To get a more accurate positioning and costs of each keyword must click ‘View Traffic Estimator. ” You can also change your maximum CPC and see the effect these changes would have on the average position, clicks and cost of the ad itself.
To finish creating your AdWords account itself must register. You enter the email address and choose a password. When you are ready to activate the ads themselves, will have to register your new account and enter their own billing.
The email address is entered must be one that is revised frequently, as it will be sent to all account information to this address. You will also receive feature updates, performance alerts, and if you choose not to receive information related to the account, you will receive newsletters.
Then click on “Create my AdWords account” to complete the process of creating the account. You will receive an email in which you will be asked to verify your request. When you have verified and ready to activate your ads, log into your account and enter your billing information. If you select the traditional payment method, your ads run almost immediately after you enter data. However, if you choose a prepay, your ads start running after payment is received.
Benefits of AdWords
One of the advantages that this program is that, unlike traditional advertising offerings, Google’s contextual advertising requires no upfront payment nor packages. You can place ads on websites of this search network offering the right content to match your ad with an interested reader. With Google AdWords, you can manage your campaign according to performance figures that want to achieve.
Google AdWords offers control, guarantee of success and assistance. Because of its great features, a Google AdWords account at all can be adapted to the needs of any advertiser, because as the price system cost per click, pay only for clicks you receive and the price you fixed. That is chosen by the applicant.
There is also a pricing system cost per impression (CPM) for those who prefer to target specific sites content and pay per impression.
The targeted ads are created and managed by the advertiser. These and can post the days and time you want. There are even online performance reports available on its own account whenever you need it. There is also an advertising network of sites to increase the presence of ads.
In short, Google’s AdWords having no monthly minimum spending requirement or time commitment, requiring only a nominal fee to create an account, is the ideal marketing tool for small and medium enterprises.
It can ensure that this program is a guarantee of success. This is because the success of this advertising program is based on the success of advertisers. Therefore, the most important thing is to attract qualified prospects in the best way possible.
Also, Google has created a Center to ensure that the advertiser make the most of the tools that are offered. This center contains useful information about the program, performance tips and detailed instructions for creating and maintaining your account.
There are two types of publications, one stan accelerated. In the first case is distributed printouts of the ads themselves throughout the day to make sure you do not accrue all of your clicks early on. If you set your budget below the amount recommended by the system, your ads may not receive all possible impressions.
In the case of the accelerated delivery, the ads as often as possible until your budget is reached. If you set below the value recommended by the system, your ads may not receive all possible impressions.
In short, with Adwords you can reach over 80% of Internet users. The ads appear almost instantly. They appear when a user searches for information related to your products or services. And finally, it has the support of Google search, GMail and Network Associates AdSense program.
How to optimize this program
Then we will introduce seven tricks for using this program to be optimal and successful as possible. They are: identify the goal, create a list of keywords, keyword matching, organizing the campaign itself, text clear and understandable, useful landing pages, analyzing the results of the campaign and change it.
These councils have to do with all that we have seen, but it is good to remember and bear this in mind because knowing how to make these steps, success is assured.
For those who use Adwords has changed the tool was used to choose the right words. From now on, whether to one’s own Adwords account, in “Campaign Management” – “Tools” – “Keyword Tool” will find that by doing a search given the “popularity of the keyword” .
In this new version of the keyword tool, open to the public, you’ll see much more data about searches conducted on its search engine. Among these developments, highlighting the power to visually check the amount (volume of searches) over the last twelve months of that search phrase
The standard version of Adwords lets you create and organize many ads into ad groups and campaigns. As an initial step, try to create variations in the text of your current ad. See what messages and phrases attract more attention and clicks from users.
Then, it is recommended to think about the possibility of creating new ad groups. An ad group is the combination of a set of related keywords and one or more ads for a particular product. If, for example, has six different products on sale, it is advisable to create six ad groups with keywords and independently associated with each product.
It also suggests the creation of new campaigns. Moving from one version to another will create a single account from its original announcement and the options had been set for him. The new campaigns are created to target ads allow several cities or countries, as well as different languages. Each campaign has its own budget, which turn out to be a very useful way to manage your advertising.
It is important that the ads run more often, and in this case daily budget determines how often they are displayed with the keywords. To maximize the number of times your ad appears in a day, set your daily budget to the recommended amount during the process of creating the campaign.
We need to improve further the position of the ad. The position of these targeted keyword is determined from the maximum CPC and the quality of the ad. Therefore, if you increase the performance factors, such as maximum CPC or the level of quality, improve ad position.
Finally, ads with higher clickthrough rate (CTR) are more likely to deliver relevant clicks and leads. And thus be displayed more frequently than those with lower CTR.
Although it has been said, it bears repeating, you have to go directly to the public itself, create interesting ads and link to relevant content.
To better define the keywords and phrases you should select those that are relevant in relation to the product or service that is trying to sell. General keywords generate a large number of impressions but often result in a few clicks.
By this we mean that we must be more concise and direct. For example, if you sell tennis accessories, it is preferable not to choose the keyword “tennis” because it is likely that search ads on issues unrelated to the business, such as tennis lessons. Thus, it is recommended to choose more descriptive phrases for products or services themselves, so that your ads appear only in relevant searches. Regarding this example, you can include any of the following phrases: tennis rackets, tennis shoes, tennis ball machines.
Keep in mind that not all users entered the same keywords to find the type of product or service being offered. Therefore, it can increase the chances of reaching more potential customers including spelling variations and plural expressions in their own list of keywords. For example, tennis rackets, tennis rackets.
Another significant fact to consider is to change the matching options keywords to better target ads. By specifying the types of matching options keywords that will trigger these ads can expand or shrink depending on their orientation leads. It has the following options:
- Broad Match: just enter the keyword or keywords, such as “tennis shoes”. The ad will appear on the screens of users looking for the keywords “tennis” and “shoes” in any order and even if the query includes other terms such as racquets and tennis shoes.
- Exact match: type the keyword in brackets. This way your ad will appear when users search for tennis shoes, in this order and no other terms in the query.
- Phrase match: type the keyword in quotation marks. The ad will appear when users search for tennis shoes, in this order and possibly with other search terms in the query. For example, the advertisement can be displayed when searching for red tennis shoes, but not when looking for shoes for tennis.
- Negatives: write a script before the keyword:-red. If the keyword is tennis shoes and is the negative keyword-red, your ad will not appear if a user searches for red tennis shoes.
As for what to say the ad, it is important to know to include keywords in the text or title of the ad. If the keywords appear in the ad text, users will immediately recognize that the ad is relevant to their search.
Is essential to use a clear style, in which non-repetitive short phrases work best. And of course, is to check the spelling and grammar.
You have to identify the unique characteristics of the product or service you want to offer. And this is important to highlight the unique benefits it offers to differentiate themselves from competitors and attract more potential customers.
It is known that users will only click on the ad if you are interested in what is offered, so you have to make it easier to find more information by sending a link to a landing page containing relevant information, which in turn should be simple for the user.
Finally, and importantly, we must track conversions. This feature allows you to track the number of clicks on the ads themselves that make purchases, subscriptions, page views and potential customers for free.
The conversion tracking involves placing a cookie on the user’s computer when he clicks on an ad. Thus, if the user clicks on your ad and reaches one of your conversion pages, the user’s browser sends a cookie to the Google server and your site will get a small conversion tracking image. When a match like this, Google records a successful conversion to his name. This information is reflected on the Summary tab campaign “Campaign Management” of your Adwords account.
To start the conversion tracking must be placed on the website itself a few lines of code or code fragments. This requires some understanding of HTML or web tools. Only this way will correctly place the snippet conversion tracking. Should also be access to the code’s own website and the company’s own account in Google Adwords.
Once installed, the code snippet, the advertiser can access your conversion tracking reports from the Campaign Summary page and the Report Center at least one hour after the first conversion occurs in the Adwords account.
Conversion tracking Google provides a great flexibility in shaping the preferences of the person concerned.

What is Google AdWords2

Google AdwordsGoogle AdWords is a quick and simple way to advertise on Google and its ad partners, regardless of your budget. AdWords ads are displayed along with search results on Google, as well as on search and content sites in the growing Google Network, which includes websites like AOL, EarthLink, HowStuffWorks, & Blogger. With searches on Google and page views on the Google Network each day, your Google AdWords ads reach a vast audience.
When you create an AdWords ad to run on Google and its search partners, you can choose keywords for which your ad will appear and specify the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for each click. You pay only when someone clicks on your ad.
When you create an AdWords ad to run on the Content Network, you can choose the exact content placements where you’d like your ad to appear, or you can let contextual targeting match your keywords to content. You can pay for each click (CPC) or for each thousand times someone sees your ad (which is called CPM bidding).
To save you even more money, our AdWords Discounter automatically reduces the actual cost-per-click (or CPC) you pay to the lowest cost needed to maintain your ad’s position. The AdWords Discounter keeps working no matter which method of display or bidding you choose.
There’s no minimum monthly charge with AdWords — just a nominal activation fee. You can choose from a variety of ad formats, including text, image, and video ads, and easily track your ad performance using the reports in your online account Control Center of your Google Account.

The Google Adwords is structured in the way as depicted in the image.

Campaign is the next level of Google Adwords Structure. It has the details about

Why is it necessary to be careful with Campaign Settings

What is Adwords?

Target your campaign.
Adwords is the system devised by Google to allow websites businesses to advertise either at the side or above normal organic search results pages, or-explainedon various websites that have partnered with Google to display the Adwords advertisements.
Basically, you bid against other advertisers on specific keywords. The highest bid gets the best exposure on the search adverts and also on selected websites. Unlike other auctions, there are no losers - just those who don't win as well!!
It is important that you target your campaign properly!

Keyword Bidding.

Example:- Let's say you own a business website that sells car parts. You website is doing ok, but the wide range of car parts you stock, makes it difficult for you to see your site in No 1 position for many of your stock-lines. (Maybe - just maybe - you don't have a web page dedicated to each of your stock lines. Worse still, your competitor always seems to beat you in search. It happens!)
Problem. Say one area you are not getting good web exposure for, is your stock of 'Mitsubishi Auto Parts'. I have just researched to find that there are 3600 web searches for "Mitsubishi Auto Parts" every month! It would be nice to get some of those coming to my website to help me move my inventory of said parts.
Solution. Enlist the world's leading internet advertising organisation - Google Adwords. Join up, go through their easy text advert helper, and in next to no time, you will have designed a small box ad relating to "Mitsubishi Auto Parts". Now the fun part starts. You want that advert displayed on the search pages, so that when people search for your keywords, you advert will also show up next to the search results.
To get exposure for your Adwords box ad, you will need to bid in a secret auction, against other advertisers who also want to move their Mitsubishi inventory. Or perhaps they are just being 'greedy' and want to increase their overall business. (Another reason for using Adwords!) You don't have a bottomless pit of funds in your advertising budget, so need to be assured that it is not going to cost too much. As usual, Google has already realised that this might be a problem, so allows you firstly to set a daily budget. You decide on say $50.00 per day. You then have to 'place your bid' against other advertisers. Google suggests a 'maximum' bid for you, and you are in the running.
This is how it works (Basically)
'Advertiser A' has allocated a budget of $200.00 per day, and had fixed his maximum bid at $2.50 per click.
'Advertiser B' has allocated a budget of $100.00 per day, and has fixed his maximum bid at $2.25 per click
'Advertiser U' has allocated a budget of $50.00 per day, and U have fixed your maximum bid at $2.00 per click.
Google will serve the ads of Advertiser A at the top of the Ad listings (until his daily budget runs out)
Advertiser B will mostly show up in second place, whilst U will start off in third place listings. But once the budgets have run out for A and B, then you will probably move up to number 1 spot. And the REALLY good thing is, that Google will probably REDUCE your bid for you - unless of course someone else enters the race.

Conclusion

All of the previous examples are over simplifications of what actually happens. There are MANY variables - as with all things relating to search results, whether paid for or not.
But, it should show you just how easy it is to get up and going with your Adsense project. Next, you will need how to play the keywords bidding game, by doing some research. You should be able to get a good return on Investment ROI if you do the research and do not simply bid blindly for the major keywords.

How to Be Friends with Google AdWords # 2

On this post we’ll teach you how to plan and run your Google AdWords campaign. Disclaimer: Do not continue reading unless you managed to read part 1 of How to be Friends with Google AdWords  without gawking.
1.  Define your target audienceThis is the easiest step because you already know who your customers  are or at least who you want them to be: your site’s target audience should be your campaign’s target audience.
2. Define your campaign structureWhat is a campaign structure you ask? Well, Google AdWords accounts all  follow the same structure:
AdWords - Account Structure
The best way to organize your products into Campaigns & Ad  Groups is to copy the structure of your website. Each section of your site should be one campaign.
Example: You’re selling shoes, but you have flip-flops, sneakers, flats, heels and boots. Each of these should ideally have its own  campaign.
If your products can be segmented in any way, each segment should have its own ad  group.Example: running sneakers, basketball sneakers, skateboard sneakers. If  you’re a reseller, you can group each product’s brands into separate ad groups, e.g. under the campaign “Sneakers” you have ad groups “Nike”, “Adidas” etc. Just remember that each ad group should have its own targeted ads and keywords.
3. Group keywords you want your ad to show for
Remember you want your ad to have as many relevant keywords as possible. How do you do that?  Start by listing all the products/services you’re offering. Try and think up as many relevant keywords as possible that could be useful when someone searches for your product.
If you get stuck, try using Google Keyword Tool to generate more ideas. You don’t have to come up with tons of ideas, it’s perfectly OK to have up to a dozen relevant keywords per ad group. If you worry about ambiguous keywords that could have your ads showing up for irrelevant searches, make sure you include negative keywords (see example). They will prevent this and save your advertising budget for relevant searches only.
Example: You have a whole line of suede shoes. Suede is a material, but also a UK-based rock band. Either use matching types (Exact or phrase) or use –band to exclude all the searches.
